[origin: EP2286936A1] The tool (1) has two double-armed press levers (2) tiltably moving in opposite directions and attached at a mounting part (7). The levers exhibit a jaw (3) with a contact area (4) for processing an article, and a spreading arm (10) is attached to a pressing device. The spreading arm exhibits an inlet curve (12) for a roller (11) of the pressing device. A clamping force limiting unit (13) is arranged on one of the two press levers and at an end of the inlet curve. The limiting unit is formed as a cam and stop at which the roller is applied after passing through the inlet curve.
