Abstract (en)
The airfoil (100) has five projection bodies (30) that are designed as plate-like ribs and provided at an end strip (20). Each projection body extends 75 percentage over the entire length of the end strip parallel to a center line of the airfoil or along the center line in a cross-section of the airfoil. The projection body orthogonally protrudes from a surface of the end strip. The breadth of the projection body corresponds to the half of the width of the end strip. The end strip runs in a straight-line, convex or concave.

Um einen Tragflügel (100), insbesondere Ruder, für Wasserfahrzeuge, insbesondere Schiffe, mit einer Endleiste (20), anzugeben, bei dem die negativen Effekte der Wirbelbildung in Strömungsrichtung hinter dem Tragflügel bzw. der Kármánschen-Wirbelstraßen reduziert werden, ist ein Vorsprungskörper (30) zur Reduzierung der Wirbelbildung an der Endleiste (20) angeordnet.
