Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2287828A2] The display panel has an edge profile with stabilizing and rounded corner sections arranged at a periphery of the display panel. The edge profile includes chamfers (4, 5) at a side of a panel element (2), where the panel element and one of the sections of the edge profile are formed from a single piece. One of the chamfers is perpendicular to a surface of the panel element, and the other chamfer is perpendicular to the former chamfer and parallel to the surface of the panel element. The display panel is made of light metal or light metal alloy.
