[origin: WO2009141046A1] The invention relates to a side sash for a furniture drawer, comprising a sash profile (1) running longitudinally in the direction of motion of the furniture drawer, the inner profile side wall (3) and the outer profile side wall (2) thereof being connected to each other by a retaining beam (4). Two beam legs (6, 7) extending downward from a beam web (5) of the retaining beam (4) are connected to the outer profile side wall (2) and the inner profile side wall (3). An outer beam leg (6) of the retaining beam (4) engages in a channel (8), open at the top, formed by a folded edge strip (9) of the outer profile side wall (2) and rests upward on a shoulder (10) of the outer profile side wall (2). An inner beam leg (7) is flushly attached to the inner side of the inner profile side wall (3). The inner beam leg (7) is connected to the inner profile side wall (3) by clinching.
