Abstract (en)

[origin: GB2455372A] A container opening arrangement, such as for an extrusion gun, features a flexible bag or chub 6, containing an extrudable product 8. A portion of the bag is cut open during manufacturing, but held closed in an interference fit with a closure assembly comprised of generally rigid components, such as a stopper 10C and / or a screw threaded cap 11. When the cap 11 or similar, is released, the flexible bag 6 is already open and ready for use in extruding. The invention may find particular application in the field of caulking or similar guns. After release of the cap 11, a nozzle may be attached to the container.
