[origin: WO2009156193A1] An apparatus and a method for producing individual blanks (2) from a film web (1) and for transporting them are disclosed. With a first conveyor (12), the film web (1) is fed to a device (16) for creating at least one potential separating location (30). With a second conveyor (14), the individual blanks (2) that are formed are transported away and passed on for further processing. In the region of a guiding system (5) of the second conveyor (14), a break (38) of the individual blank (2) is formed.
