[origin: WO2009147019A1] The invention relates to a server system (1), comprising a server frame (2), whose first side (3) has at least one server (5) embedded in it, and also a connection module (6) for connecting the at least one server (5) from a second side (4) of the server frame (2) that is opposite the first side, wherein the at least one connection module (6) is arranged transversely with respect to the at least one server (5). The server (5) has at least one plug connector (9), and the connection module (6) has at least one further plug connector (7) which are respectively in a form such that the plug connector (9) of the server (5) and the plug connector (7) of the connection module (6) set up a direct connection between the server (5) and the connection module (6). The invention also relates to a server (5) and a connection module (6) for use in the server system (1) according to the invention.
