The channel has a deflecting channel (7.1) provided on an upstream side (12) of a pump (4) and formed by a rounded front edge (6) of an intermediate bottom (2). A half-pipe (8) exhibits a concave inner side for surrounding the front edge of the intermediate bottom. Cross section of the deflecting channel is extended from a lower side of the intermediate bottom to a lower side of the intermediate bottom. A small diffuser (9) is provided downstream of the pump, and includes segmental plates (11) arranged in a flow chamber. Areas of the diffuser are directed parallel to a flow direction.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen transportablen, kompakten Wasserumlaufkanal, bestehend aus einem Strömungskanal mit Schwimmbecken (1), einem Rückströmkanal (3) und einem Zwischenboden (2), der das Schwimmbecken (1) vom Rückströmkanal (3) trennt. Im Rückführkanal (3) sitzt mindestens eine das Wasser umwälzende Pumpe (4); Krümmer mit Schaufelgittern (5.1; 5.2; 5.3; 5.4) lenken die Strömung des Wassers vom Rückströmkanal (3) in das Schwimmbecken (1) und umgekehrt um. Der Wasserumlaufkanal zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass er zumindest auf der Abströmseite (12) der Pumpe (4) einen Umlenkkanal (7.1) besitzt. Der Umlenkkanal (7.1) wird durch die abgerundete Stirnkante (6) des Zwischenbodens (2) und einem Halbrohr (8), welches zur Stirnkante (6) des Zwischenbodens (2) parallel verläuft, gebildet. Des Weiteren weist der Wasserumlenkkanal einen Kurzdiffusor (9) mit mehreren Segmentblechen (11), auf; dieser befindet sich auf der Abströmseite (12) der Pumpe. Mit dem Umlenkkanal (7) und dem Kurzdiffusor (9) wird eine gleichmäßige Verteilung der Strömungsgeschwindigkeit bei gleichzeitig sehr geringen Abmessungen des Wasserumlaufkanals erreicht.
