[origin: EP2289641A1] The present invention relates to a method of co-extruding at least two metallic materials, a first and a second metallic material (1,4), into an extruded profile, wherein the first metallic material (1) forms an outer shell of the extruded profile and the second material (4) forms a core of the extruded profile, said core being bonded to the outer shell, and wherein the first and the second metallic material (1,4) are separated during at least part of the extrusion process. The invention also relates to a die set for carrying out the method.
