The device has a base carrier (1), and a tool carrier (4) moved relative to the base carrier along an axis. A bending tool is brought in engagement with a pipe (3) to be bent, by rotation of the tool carrier at a rotation axis. A rotation drive rotates the tool carrier at a rotation axis. A gear transmits displacement of the tool carrier to the base carrier relative to rotation movement of the tool carrier at the rotation axis. The tool carrier is moved relative to the base carrier over a linear drive. A drive wheel is connected with a shaft of the tool carrier.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Biegen länglicher Werkstücke mit einem Grundträger (1), einem relativ zu dem Grundträger (1) entlang zumindest einer Achse verschiebbaren Werkzeugträger (4) mit mindestens zwei Biegewerkzeugen, wobei jeweils eines der Biegewerkzeuge durch eine Drehung des Werkzeugträgers (4) um eine Rotationsachse in Eingriff mit dem zu biegenden Werkstück bringbar ist, und einem Drehantrieb zum Drehen des Werkzeugträgers (4) um die Rotationsachse. Die erfindungsgemäße Biegevorrichtung ist weiterhin durch ein Getriebe gekennzeichnet, das aufgrund der Relativverschiebung des Werkzeugträgers (4) zu dem Grundträger (1) eine Drehbewegung des Werkzeugträgers (4) um die Rotationsachse bewirkt.
