[origin: EP2289805A1] The device has a conveying device (13) for combining stacks of goods (2a, 2b) to a common stack of goods (11) by a foil or a tubular film (1). A covering device (10) is provided for covering the tubular film by the common stack of goods so that the tubular film is rotated over a circumference of the common stack of goods and covers sidewalls of the common stack of goods. The covering device covers the tubular film by the stacks of goods. The stack of goods with a side wall adjacent to a side wall of another stack of goods is arranged in the common stack of goods. An independent claim is also included for a method for wrapping stack of goods.
