[origin: EP2290142A2] The machine has a needle bar mounting a sewing needle for formation of a joint in a passing region, and transporters transporting a sewing material at the passing region. A bearing support (27) of a transporter-transmission mechanism is mounted on a connecting rod (28) for material transportation of the transporters. The bearing support is movably connected with the connecting rod such that the bearing support axially forms a transmission mechanism (29) of a thread-sectioned blade (49) during axial displacement of the connecting rod.
