Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2290240A2] The pump (1) has a direct-current motor (6), and a power supply unit connected to a supply of the motor. The power supply unit rectifies and/or converts received alternative current voltage or direct current voltage. The power supply unit includes a closed control loop for controlling a controlled variable of the pump, and the motor includes a mechanical commutator. The controlled variable of the pump is variably selected from a group consisting of rotary speed of the motor, current drawn by the motor and pump feed power. An independent claim is also included for a method for pumping liquid.
