The industrial plug connector (1) has a base part (3) and a plug part (5) that is intermateable with the base part. The base part and the plug part have contact inserts (7,11) and metallic housings (9,13). A metallic frame cover (15) is arranged at the base part and another metallic frame cover (17) is arranged at the plug part.

Ein Industriesteckverbinder (1) umfasst ein Basisteil (3) und ein mit dem Basisteil (3) zusammensteckbares Steckteil (5). Das Basisteil (3) und das Steckteil (5) weisen jeweils einen Kontakteinsatz (7,11) und ein metallisches Gehäuse (9,13) auf. Am Basisteil (3) ist ein erstes metallisches Rahmenblech (15) und am Steckteil (5) ist ein zweites metallisches Rahmenblech (17) derart angeordnet, dass sich die beiden Rahmenbleche (15,17) zur Bildung einer Schirmdämpfung im zusammengesteckten Zustand des Industriesteckverbinders (1), sich zumindest teilweise überlappen.
