[origin: WO2009146880A2] A measuring instrument comprises a control device (4), a test signal transmitter (2), a test signal receiver (3), and a measurement tip (1) that has at least one coaxial cable. The control device (4) controls the test signal transmitter (2) in such a way that the test signal transmitter (2) transmits a test signal to a specific point of a tissue by means of the coaxial cable. The tissue scatters the test signal. The control device (4) controls the test signal receiver (3) in such a way that the test signal receiver (3) receives the scattered test signal. The control device (4) evaluates the received test signal. The measurement tip (1) is designed such that the same allows a tissue sample to be taken at the specific point of the tissue.
