[origin: WO2009135932A2] The invention concerns a component of plastic material, in particular a rotor blade (17), having a fixing device which is to be particularly inexpensive and simple to produce. To attain that object it is proposed that the fixing device has the form of a neck (4) of a PET bottle (1), the neck being provided with a screwthread. In a rotor blade (17) at least a part of the surface can be formed by a portion of the wall of the PET bottle (1). Simple PET drinks bottles thus make it possible to build a functioning rotor, for example for energy generation.
