Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2292392A1] The installation (1) has a cutting assembly (2) cutting sleeves (31) and traversed by a descending path (CD) via which a sheath (3) passes. The assembly has a chassis (100) carrying a gear motor (101) and lateral guide rails (141) receiving a gripping slide (130) and a blade holder slide (110). Upstream and downstream support bars (121a, 121b) define a cutting interval (IC) from a side of the path. The blade holder slide carries cutting blades (150) that has cutting edges formed of saw teeth and are arranged in the interval of gripping blades (131a, 131b) supported against the bars. The support bars are made of flexible material such as rubber.
