Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2292443A1] The device (1) has fold-shaping rails (9, 10) extending in a direction parallel to one another. A shaping tool (6) is arranged to face an inside of a spine (5) of a book casing (4) to shape a web (14) on the spine with the aid of the rails, where the tool includes support bars (7, 8) that extend parallel to the rails. The bars are arranged to be adjustable so that the bars together adjust the web width of the spine in a direction transverse to the extension direction of the rails. A motor is coupled to the bars. A guide device is arranged to aid in the adjustment of the bars, respectively.
