Abstract (en)
The case (10) has time indication units e.g. hour and minute hands, connected to a clockwork mechanism (20). A dial base comprises articulated elements moved between closed and open positions. The elements are placed side by side and mask the mechanism in the closed position. The elements are retracted for letting a part of the mechanism visible from the exterior through a glass in the open position. The elements constituting the base are parallel pivoting longilinear strips (31, 131). The strips are driven by mechanical driving units.

Il s'agit d'un boîtier (10) de montre (1) comportant au moins un verre supérieur, un fond, des bords avant et arrière (13) adaptés pour être reliés à un bracelet (14) et des bords latéraux (15), ledit boîtier (10) étant creux et renfermant : - un mécanisme d'horlogerie (20 ; 21), - des moyens (22) d'indication du temps qui s'écoule, et - un fond de cadran disposé entre le mécanisme d'horlogerie (20 ; 21) et les moyens (22) d'indication du temps qui s'écoule. Le fond de cadran (30) est escamotable et comporte des éléments articulés (31) mobiles entre : - une première position fermée dans laquelle ils forment ledit fond (30) et masquent entièrement le mécanisme d'horlogerie (20 ; 21), et - une seconde position ouverte dans laquelle ils sont escamotés pour laisser apparaître au moins une partie du mécanisme d'horlogerie (20 ; 21) depuis l'extérieur du boîtier.
