[origin: WO2009143134A2] An apparatus for delivering a coating to an interior surface of a plurality of can bodies is described. The apparatus has a rotational indexing means for sequentially transferring each of the plurality of can bodies along a plurality of index positions. A coating delivery system is associated with one of the plurality of index positions. The apparatus provides a means for providing automated relative movement between indexing means and the coating delivery system is provided to selectively vary a distance between the indexing means and the coating delivery system.
