The turbine housing (1) has a turbine housing portion (2,3) provided with a joint flange (5,6) and screwed to one another by joint screws through the joint flanges. A wall cladding is provided on the inner wall of the turbine housing. The wall cladding (8) is provided in the area of the joint flanges such that the wall cladding reduces a convective heat transfer and thermal radiation in the area of the joint flanges.
