Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2295799A2] The method involves measuring cooling water level of a condenser (1) in a measuring pot (9), where the measuring pot is mounted outside the condenser. The measured level is used as a measured variable for adjusting a delivery volume of a speed-controlled cooling water pump (8), where the speed-controlled cooling water pump conveys the cooling water through a return line (14) for treating the cooling water in a settling tank. The measuring pot comprises a pressure equalization line for ensuring interior pressure in the condenser. An independent claim is also included for a condenser cooling water pump controlling device comprising a measuring pot.
