The carrier has a plastic body, and an adjusting surface e.g. glass plate (1) and wire grid, extending between two lateral edges and between front and rear edges. One of the lateral edges has downwardly opening rear and front recesses (8a, 8b) adjacent to the front and rear edges, respectively. The recesses have undercuts (17) at a front side that is turned towards one of the edges. The front recess has an inclined surface (16) formed towards the front side, and the undercuts have another inclined surface (19) parallel to the former inclined surface.

Ein Kühlgutträger für ein Kältegerät, insbesondere ein Haushaltskältegerät, hat eine sich zwischen zwei seitlichen Flanken und zwischen einem vorderen und einem hinteren Rand erstreckende Stellfläche. Wenigstens eine der seitlichen Flanken weist wenigstens zwei nach unten und nach außen offene Aussparungen (8a, 8b) auf, von denen wenigstens eine erste Aussparung (8a, 8b) an einer einem der Ränder der Stellfläche zugewandten ersten Stirnseite eine zum Aufnehmen eines Trägernockens vorgesehene Hinterschneidung (17) aufweist.
