[origin: WO2009132632A1] In transverse stretching systems for film webs, tenter clips (1) run by way of running rollers (7) on guide rails (2). At relatively high working speeds, vibrations, noise, wear and friction losses occur. In order to avoid this, permanent magnets or electromagnets (8) are arranged on the tenter clip (1) or on the guide rail (2) in the region of the running rollers (7) in such a way that the tenter clip (1) is pulled towards the guide rail (2) in a defined direction. The running of the tenter clip (1) on the guide rail (2) is therefore stabilized and high working speeds can be achieved in apparatuses for stretching film webs transversely.
