[origin: WO2010002248A1] The invention relates to an assembly for loading a loading surface (2) of a truck (1), comprising a loading platform (4) having a work floor (5), a substantially rectangular loading pallet (7) for carrying a cargo (8), wherein the loading pallet (7) comprises a mobile undercarriage along two opposite sides, wherein the mobile undercarriage is adapted for moving the loading pallet in a direction substantially parallel to the sides. In one embodiment the loading platform comprise a recess for accommodating the loading pallet therein, wherein the supporting surface of the loading pallet can be placed substantially in the plane of the work floor. The loading pallet can be loaded independent of a vehicle being available.
