[origin: WO2010003792A1] According to the invention there is provided an alginate granule comprising: (a) alginate; (b) one or more cationic species which is a divalent or polyvalent metal cation; (c) citric acid; and (d) one or more fabric benefit agents. The invention further relates to laundry detergent compositions comprising the alginate granules of the invention, to a process to make the alginate granules and to the use of said granules to deliver benefit agents to the fabric.
