[origin: EP2299046A2] The device (1) has two holding elements (8, 9) connected with each other, and a screw (13) and a nut (14) for connecting the holding elements and initializing clamping force. A direction changing element (23) i.e. rotary bearing, is coupled with one of the holding elements, and the other holding element is coupled at the screw and the nut. The changing element changes orientation of the holding elements relative to each other during actuation of the screw and the nut such that the clamping force is produced between the holding elements for fastening an insect protection grid door at a frame.
