Abstract (en)

The assembly (1) has a motor towing vehicle (2) equipped with front steering wheels (5), and a control unit (21) arranged between the motor towing vehicle and a towing rolling equipment (3). The control unit is connected to a detection unit (20) for angularly bringing, around an articulation (15), symmetrical longitudinal plane (P1) of a bearing structure in a turned angular position of wheels (8). The control unit is powered by a power source (27).

- Ensemble motorisé articulé autodirectionnel - L'ensemble se compose d'un véhicule pousseur (2) à organes de roulement directeurs et d'un matériel poussé (3) à structure portante (7) ayant un plan longitudinal vertical de symétrie (P1) et reliée, d'un côté, audit véhicule pousseur (2) et équipée, de l'autre côté, de roues (8) spontanément orientables autour d'axes verticaux sur ladite structure portante. Avantageusement, l'ensemble comprend, de plus : - un moyen (20) pour détecter ledit angle de braquage pris par les roues (8) dudit matériel poussé (3) par rapport audit plan longitudinal de symétrie (P1) de celui-ci ; et - un organe de commande (21) pour amener angulairement le plan longitudinal de symétrie (P1) de ladite structure portante (7) dans la position angulaire braquée desdites roues (8).
