[origin: WO2010006739A1] Feeding bottle, in particular for babies and toddlers, having a bottle, which has a bottle opening and an external thread enclosing the same, having a teat, which has a nipple carrier with a fastening periphery and, on the nipple carrier, a nipple with a drinking hole in a side surface, having a screw-connection ring, which has an internal thread for screwing onto the external thread and means of connection to the fastening periphery of the teat, in order to keep the teat in front of the bottle opening, and having a covering cap, which can be positioned on the teat, wherein the covering cap, when placed in position, has the inside of its side wall pushing with sealing action against that side surface of the nipple which contains the drinking hole and has the inside of its base pushing against an opposite side surface of the nipple, which is oriented at an acute angle to the central axis of the fastening periphery.
