[origin: WO2009144015A1] The invention relates to a hinge cup (10) for furniture hinges, comprising a cup part (12) that can be mounted into a bore in a furniture part in a recessed manner, and further comprising expandable anchoring parts (16) that are provided on the cup part in the mounted state in the bore and have outer contact surfaces, which are arched in a manner that substantially corresponds to the radius of the bore and which can be pressed onto the bore wall using tension elements, wherein the tension elements can be moved by an eccentric mechanism in the insertion direction of the hinge cup (10) at a right angle to the mounting plane thereof, and the expansion of the anchoring parts (16) occurs if the tension elements are moved in the direction from the insertion end of the hinge cup (10) to the mounting surface thereof. According to the invention, the tension elements and the anchoring parts (16) are configured as integral metal components that were punched out from originally planar metal strip material and subsequently were formed by means of pressing, wherein the outer partial regions of the anchoring parts (16) that, during an expansion process, can be pressed onto the wall of the bore in the furniture part in a clamping manner are configured as pressing wall sections that are delimited in a substantially arch-shaped manner as viewed from the top and can be deformed in a spring-elastic manner in a radial direction.
