The cask comprises a polyethylene teraphthalate container (14) and a hooping (30) is fixed at a contact point (40) at an outer side (16) lying close inner side of the polyethylene teraphthalate container by a material-engaging connection (42) in form of a welded connection (44). Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method for producing a cask; and (2) a device for producing a cask.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gebinde (10), welches mindestens zwei miteinander verbundene PET-Behälter (14) umfasst, die mit einer horizontal um eine Außenseite der PET-Behälter gespannten, band- oder streifenartigen Umreifung (30) zusammengehalten sind, wobei eine an den Außenseiten (16) der PET-Behälter anliegende Innenseite (32) der Umreifung an wenigstens einer Kontaktstelle (40) mit einem der PET-Behälter fixiert ist. Die Umreifung ist an der Kontaktstelle mittels einer stoffschlüssigen Verbindung (42) in Form wenigstens einer Schweißverbindung (44) fixiert.
