[origin: EP2301874A1] The method involves storing a printed product (16) removed from a feeder (A) on a transport device (2) or directly transferring the product to other transport devices (3, 3', 3''). The product is subjected to processing at an arbitrary area within the latter transport device. The product is supplied to other feeders (B, C) that are stacked with the other printed products (16', 16'') for processing the products. The products are assigned to the former transport device after completing the processing. A guiding hole is aligned tangentially against a peripheral surface of a withdrawing drum (4).
