Abstract (en)
Zinc alloy comprises zinc as main component, and aluminum, copper and titanium and optionally boron as further alloy components, where the amount of: aluminum is 0.005-20 (preferably 0.01-0.015) wt.%; copper is 0.01-1.5 (preferably 0.1-0.2) wt.%; titanium is more than 0.5 (preferably 0.08-0.10) wt.%; boron is more than 0.0005 (preferably 0.005-0.5) wt.%, nitrogen is more than 0.0005 (preferably 0.001-0.5) wt.% and/or carbon is more than 0.0005 (preferably 0.001-0.5) wt.%. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing the zinc alloy comprising (a) adding zinc, aluminum and copper into a container and melting, (b) homogenizing the melt at 500[deg] C for at least 12 hours, (c) subsequently adding titanium and boron or nitrogen, (d) homogenizing the alloy for at least 10 minutes, and (e) cooling.

Zinklegierung mit Zink als Hauptbestandteil sowie Aluminium, Kupfer, und Titan und gegebenenfalls Bor als weitere Legierungsbestandteile, enthaltend: 0,005 bis 20, insbesondere 0,005 bis 1 oder 0,01 bis 0,015 Gew.-% Aluminium, 0,01 bis 1,5, insbesondere 0,1 bis 1,0 oder 0,1 bis 0,2 Gew.-% Kupfer, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zinklegierung umfasst: mehr als 0,05, insbesondere 0,06 bis 0,25 oder 0,08 bis 0,10 Gew.-% Titan und mehr als 0,0005, insbesondere 0,001 bis 0,5 Gew.-% oder 0,005 bis 0,5 Gew.-% Bor, und/oder mehr als 0,0005, insbesondere 0,001 bis 0,5 Gew.-% Stickstoff, und/oder und/oder mehr als 0,0005, insbesondere 0,001 bis 0,5 Gew.-% Kohlenstoff.
