Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2302743A1] The device has a clamping element (10) which is inserted into cable receptacle (2) mounted on a connector housing (1). The clamping element has guiding fingers and clamping fingers which are arranged alternatively to form ring structure (11). The fingers are axially guided in the longitudinal recess of thread. The wedge-shaped ends of clamping element are in contact with wedges of cable receptacle to reduce the diameter when the clamping element is screwed into receptacle such that cable is fixed between clamping elements.
