Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2302952A1] The method involves transferring a hearing aid to a self-adjustment mode, and selecting an adjustment program from a set of adjustment programs predefined in the hearing aid by an operating element, where the adjustment programs is set in the self-adjustment mode differing in terms of gain essentially only above a threshold value and below another threshold value of a frequency range that is transmitted by the hearing aid. The self-adjustment mode is terminated, and the hearing aid is operated on a basis of a selected adjustment program. An independent claim is also included for a hearing aid assembly comprising a hearing aid.
