[origin: WO2010007047A1] Adapter (77) for coupling a dosing system (1,2) to a water supply line, comprising a water inlet (78) and a water outlet (79), which may be coupled to a water supply line, such that water can flow through the adapter (77) and means for fixing a dosing device (2) on or in the adapter (77), wherein the dosing device (2) comprises a controller (16), a sensor unit (17), at least one actuator (18), connected to a power source (15) and the controller (16) such that a control signal from the controller (16) brings about a movement of the actuator (18) whereupon a product release is carried out or stopped. The means for foxing the dosing device (2) on or in the adapter (77) and the dosing device (2) are designed such that in the coupled state a fluid-tight connection is formed between the adapter (77) and the dosing device (2) which prevents inflow of water into the adapter (77) and an outflow of flowing water from the adapter (77).
