[origin: WO2010011171A1] The invention relates to a method for preparing an asphalt mixture in a mixer (15). According to the invention the method comprises the steps of, loading a dry aggregate comprising stone material principally free from filler into the mixer (15), thereafter loading a foamed binder mixture into the mixer (15) that contains said dry aggregate, which binder mixture is foamed when it leaves a prefoaming chamber (12) and is loaded into the mixer (15), whereupon mixing of said aggregate and said foamed binder mixture takes place, and thereafter loading a filler (6) into the mixer (15), whereupon final mixing of the asphalt mixture takes place.
