[origin: WO2010003260A1] The supporting device for sliding doors (1) made of glass comprises two shoes (3, 5) which can be displaced with respect to one another and locked. The connection between the upper edge of the sliding door (1) is made by means a bonding agent on the limbs (3a, 5a) of the shoes (3, 5), which bonding agent cures under low pressure. As a result, stresses in the glass which lead to fracturing can be prevented.
