[origin: WO2009140943A1] The invention relates to a device (1) for setting a rock bolt, comprising a drilling carriage (3) that is located on a carriage support (2). The device (1) is equipped with a pivoting mechanism (7) between an upper part (23) and a lower part (22) of the carriage support (2), by means of which mechanism the carriage support (2) can be moved between a drilling and a bolt setting position. The carriage support (2) is also equipped with a separately driven bolt setting carriage (5) that is smaller in size and is offset by approximately 90° in relation to the drilling carriage (3).
