Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2143998A2] The burner unit has a tube (3) for feeding a solid fuel in a feed direction. A surrounding body (4) is arranged in an extension of the tube for redirecting solid powdered fuel radiation discharged from the tube. The tube has a ring-shaped bluff body (7) surrounding the tube. The bluff body deflects the solid powdered fuel radiation deflected by the surrounding body in the feed direction. A combustion chamber (8) is connected with another tube (6) for guiding combustion exhaust gas in the latter tube.
