Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009149681A1] The invention relates to a heat exchanger which has ducts for conducting a first medium (B) for cooling or heating a second medium (A) and which also has a dynamic-type compressor (1) arranged on the heat exchanger for conveying the first medium (B) through the ducts of the heat exchanger, wherein the heat exchanger comprises at least two parts between which the dynamic-type compressor is arranged. As a result of the integration of the dynamic-type compressor between the individual parts (segments) of the heat exchanger, it is firstly possible to retain a compact design and the heat exchanger secondly functions as a silencer for the dynamic-type compressor which is required for conducting the cooling or heating medium through the heat exchanger. The method according to the invention for cooling or heating a second medium (A) by means of a first medium (B) is characterized in that, in a heat exchanger, the second medium (A) is conducted at at least two sides past a dynamic-type compressor through which the first medium (B) is conducted.
