Abstract (en)
The ski boot pair has two ski boots (1) whose rigid outer shells (2) are identical, where one of the rigid shells comprises an internally inserted slipper. The slipper comprises a rigid bootboard (5) i.e. zeppa, and side walls, such that the shells of the boots are of different sizes. The slipper has a stiffness equivalent to that of expanded polyurethane in the shell, with a Shore D hardness ranging from 20 to 30. The side walls are extended half way around the perimeter of a foot at a given height or all the way around the perimeter of the foot. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a pair of ski boots.
