Abstract (en)

The method involves selectively assembling printed products and supplements (7, 8) along an assembling section (14) to form loose book blocks (9). Feeders (12) are arranged along the assembling section, and the printed products are fed to a circulating conveyor device (16) at regular intervals following receiving locations (15).The printed products are supplied as individual sheets and/or partial block stacks (4-6) to the receiving locations of the conveyor device by the feeders connected to a digital printing machine (1). An independent claim is also included for a device for manufacturing printed items e.g. book blocks, books, pamphlets and magazines.

Abstract (de)

Bei einem Verfahren zur Herstellung von aus ein- oder mehrblättrigen Druckprodukten sowie eingelegten Beilagen (7, 8) bestehenden Druckerzeugnissen wie Buchblocks, Bücher, Broschuren, Zeitschriften oder dgl., werden die Druckprodukte und die Beilagen (7, 8) zur Bildung loser Buchblocks (9) auf einer Sammelstrecke (14) wahlweise zusammengetragen. Entlang der Sammelstrecke (14) sind mehrere Anleger (12) angeordnet , die die Druckprodukte sich in regelmässigen Abständen folgenden Aufnahmestellen (15) einer kontinuierlich umlaufenden Fördervorrichtung (16) jeweils zuführen, wobei den Aufnahmestellen (15) der Fördervorrichtung (16) entlang der Sammelstrecke (14) sequenziell bedruckte Druckprodukte über wenigstens einen mit einer Digitaldruckmaschine (1) verbundenen Anleger (12) als Einzelblatt und/oder Teilblockstapel (4, 5, 6) zugeführt werden.
