Abstract (en)
The method involves removing a corrugated board (1) from a supply roller (2), and reinforcing the board. A front cover is produced from the board, where the board has a continuous covering layer, corrugated intermediate layer and a shingle-type another covering layer. The front cover is attached to front sides of a material web roller (15), where shingles of the latter covering layer are connected with one another. The latter covering layer is glued or sewn with the intermediate layer, where the front cover is cut from the board by a laser. An independent claim is also included for a roller packing machine including an unwind unit.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Anbringen eines Stirndeckels aus Wellpappe an Stirnseiten einer Materialbahnrolle und eine Rollenpackmaschine zur Anwendung dieses Verfahrens, wobei die Wellpappe zunächst von einer Vorratsrolle abgezogen wird und anschließend versteift wird, wobei aus der Wellpappe die Stirndeckel erzeugt werden und die Stirndeckel an Stirnseiten der Materialbahnrolle angebracht werden.
