Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2305939A2] The device has a piece (1) i.e. adapter piece, attached to a frame of a tilting window or at a window frame. Another piece (2) is attached to the former piece. The protection device is activated by attaching the latter piece at the former piece and is deactivated by removal of the latter piece from the former piece. The latter piece stays with a main surface perpendicular to a main surface of the tilting window at a state attached to the former piece. A surface of the latter piece is provided with a profile (13) and is made of a material. The two pieces are made of plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for attaching a protection device for cats.
