[origin: WO2010009928A1] The invention relates to a method for determining an inclination of a body of a motor vehicle, wherein the motor vehicle comprises wheel sensors (5) associated with the wheels. An inertial sensor (3) is provided for determining an acceleration and/or rotation rate of a body of a motor vehicle, and an inclination of the body relative to a subsurface in contact with the wheels of the motor vehicle is determined from the values measured by the wheel sensors (5) and the acceleration and/or the rotation rate. The invention further relates to a device (9) for determining an inclination of a body of a motor vehicle, especially for performing the method according to the above description.
