[origin: WO2010009913A1] The invention relates to an overhead line system having a retensioning device for a wire ending at a tensioning disk, which is in contact with a retensioning weight column. For this purpose a locking device is associated with the tensioning disk for preventing a pivoting movement of the tensioning disk in case of a defect. The invention provides that a sensor is present for recognizing a change in the retensioning device, said sensor being connected to an analysis unit via a sensor line. The locking device can be actuated from the analysis unit via a control line, which connects the analysis unit to the locking device, if a measuring value of the Sensors deviates from a target value stored in the analysis unit.
