[origin: WO2009143980A1] A folding cover which is arranged such that it opens upwards and can be fastened to a body (2) of a cupboard in a manner such that it can be adjusted between an open position and a closed position, the folding cover comprising a first cover element (4), a second cover element (42), which is connected to the first cover element (4) in a manner such that it can pivot about a folding axis (49), at least one cover adjustor (47), at least one control arm (50) which is fastened to the body (2) in a manner such that it can pivot about a first control axis (51) and is fastened to the second cover element (42) in a manner such that it can pivot about a second control axis (52), wherein the first cover element (4) is fastened pivotably to the body (2) exclusively by means of the at least one cover adjustor (47), and the at least one cover adjustor (47) constitutes the sole connecting member between the first cover element (4) and the body (2), wherein the first supporting arm (5) and the second supporting arm (6) intersect in the open position of the folding cover.
