[origin: WO2009132759A1] A damping device (1) for furniture doors comprises a damping cylinder (6) held in a receiving hole (5) of a damper housing (4). The damper housing (4) can be fastened to a furniture body (3). The damping cylinder (6) forms a backstop for the furniture door. The damper housing (4) is provided with a fastener (4a) comprising a lateral contact surface (13) for seating against an inner body wall (14) and a support tab (15) bent away from the contact surface (13). The support tab (15) can be fastened to an end surface (16) of the furniture body (3) by way of a screw or a nail (17).
