Abstract (en)

The sick- or hospital bed has a base frame and four main wheels placed at the lower frame. An upper frame is provided with a head part and a foot part. A support element is provided at front end of the lower frame. The support element is brought into contact with a level surface by a weight load on the head part or the foot part initiating a tilt of the bed and so the tilt movement of the bed is limited to a tilt angle of maximum 3 degree, particularly maximum of 1.5 degree. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a sick- or hospital bed.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kranken- und/oder Pflegebett, mit einem Untergestell 10 und vier an dem Untergestell befindlichen Haupträdern 12 und einem Obergestell 40 mit einem Kopf- 60 und Fußteil 50. Dabei ist an einer Stirnseite des Untergestells 10 ein Stützelement 20 vorgesehen, welches bei einer ein Kippen des Bettes auslösenden Gewichtsbelastung auf das Kopf- 60 oder Fußteil 50 in Kontakt mit einem im Wesentlichen ebenen Untergrund bringbar ist und so wird die Kippbewegung des Bettes auf einen Kippwinkel von max. 3°, vorzugsweise max. 1° begrenzt.
